Our Aims

Promote Physical Fitness

Leading a successful and healthy lifestyles starts with keeping active and staying fit.  Throughout the year all cadets will participate in recreational sports, fitness assessments, and will set personal goals to improve their performance to achieve the goals they set for themselves.  Cadets will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive sports not found in most other community programs

Develop in youth the attributes of Good Citizenship and Leadership

We work closely with young people to ensure they have a good understanding of what it means to be involved in their communities, and we hope to develop the leaders of tomorrow.  Working closely with community organizations, our partners in service clubs and local business, as well as by engaging all levels of Government, our cadets work to have a positive influence in the community through volunteerism and community focused projects and training.

Develop an interest in the Canadian Armed Forces

Participating in the Cadet program does not require anyone to move forward with a military career.  However, through our close ties with units of the Canadian Armed Forces, Cadets will gain a better understanding of what the Canadian Armed Forces does, career opportunities available, and will learn foundational skills that can make them successful in this environment.
